Privacy policy

When you list your business we collect the company name, the VAT ID and country, the city, the category, a description and a contact email address. We check the VAT ID with VIES, the official service of the European Commission, and store the result.

Retailers who search the directory do not need an account.

Company data is used to show your directory listing (in full or without your name, depending on your package), to check that the business exists, and to forward quote requests from retailers to you.

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your data at any time. Write to global@wholesalex.de.

We do not sell your data. Your VAT ID is checked against VIES, a public register. We do not pass your data to other third parties beyond what is needed to run the directory.
