Buying guides

General guides for buying wholesale in Europe: none is specific to one category, and none states a figure WholesaleX has not sourced.

The six guides

Verify a wholesale supplier
The EU VAT number check, the company register outside the EU, and what neither confirms.
Start buying wholesale
Registering as a business, choosing suppliers, and why minimum order quantities differ.
The EU VAT reverse charge
Who declares the VAT on a cross-border EU purchase, and why the invoice often shows none.
Find a supplier abroad
Widening the search, the same registration check, and asking about delivery separately.
Wholesale vs. dropshipping
Stock, margin, delivery time and who is responsible for what, compared plainly.
Plan for seasonal demand
Working backwards from a supplier's lead time, and planning for stock left over after a season.
